  • Do I need to make an appointment to come into Mei Moon mastectomy store for a fitting?
    At this stage, we are open every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and every second weekend. We recommend customers schedule an appointment to ensure a smooth experience at Mei Moon. Bookings can be made via the 'Book Online' page. After hours appointments are available - please contact us via email or text to organise a preferred time. During your personalised session, our Consultant will offer customised suggestions based on your preferences and needs. While the prospect of fittings for mastectomy lingerie and prosthesis may seem daunting, be assured that you're in the capable hands of our expertly trained team at Mei Moon. Our primary objective is to ensure our customers leave feeling self-assured.
  • Am I eligible for a Medicare rebate for a prosthesis?
    If you have had a mastectomy, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of up to $400 per breast, and this can be up to an $800 rebate for a double mastectomy every two years. Upon payment of your prosthesis purchase, Mei Moon will provide you with a Medicare Claim Form for you to take to Medicare to assess your eligibility. No timeframes apply on when the mastectomy was performed. The program does not cover other purchases such as bras, mastectomy swimwear or internal prostheses. However, some Health Insurance companies may offer a rebate. Please speak with your individual insurance company for further information. To claim your reimbursement, you must be a permanent resident of Australia who is eligible for Medicare, and have had a mastectomy as a result of breast cancer. ​ For more information on Medicare's rebate criteria, you may go to https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/nh005 or contact Medicare to discuss your individual needs. We provide general information, and it is up to the individual to make enquiries before purchasing.
  • How do I book after hours or an alternative day?
    As a small business, we have flexibility with our mastectomy store opening hours. If there is not a time on the 'Book Online' page that suits you, please email info@meimoon.com.au to discuss an alternative day and time for your mastectomy prostheses fitting. We are, on occasions, able to come into the studio after business hours. At this stage we are open every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and every second weekend.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    We accept the following online payment methods; Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, Pay in 4, Afterpay, Google Pay (GPay) and Apple Pay.
  • Are more sizes and colours available?
    If we don't have your favourite Amoena mastectomy bra or prosthesis, or you wish to purchase a few of the same style, we are more than happy to check on availability and order for you. Please email info@meimoon.com.au and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
  • Do you offer Click & Collect?
    Yes, we do offer Click & Collect service online. Once you make your way to the payment page or 'Cart Page' you can choose the type of postage you would prefer or you can opt for 'Mei Moon Studio - Pick Up'. We will then contact you as soon as possible, via email, to determine a suitable collection day and time. To secure you purchase, please complete payment so we can pop your items aside.
  • Can I exchange or return my online purchase in-store?
    Yes, you can exchange or return items in-store. We would be happy to help you with an exchange or refund in-store. We offer a free in-store mastectomy fitting service for all our customers. For additional information including online returns, please see our Returns and Exchanges policy.
  • Privacy and Security
    Here at Mei Moon, we take your privacy and security very seriously. Your information is stored securely, and Mei Moon uses high-level SSL encryption technology for all its online transactions. We continually monitor our encryption technology to ensure our customer privacy is protected. Additionally, we do not store your credit card information.
